Like Simon, I have found this site very useful for swapping info, points of view and food. It has been a very interesting year. I've spent more time thinking about the food I buy with regards to seasonality and locality. Some times it has been tough in terms of expense, ease of buying locally (the farmers markets have been a great help) and choice. But I would say I have become better. Feel this site needs to continue, to ensure this change carries on. Well done.

The site is a very useful resource, keep up the great work! I was growing fruit and veg before I joined and the information has inspired and helped me improve what I'm doing. The regular emails have also been a great window into the information and events going on. In terms of 'improvement feedback' would be hard to add a directory of where people can purchase local produce? Thanks again. Of all the things public money goes towards, this has to be one of the best and most effective uses!

Thanks to everyone at the Food Challenge. I have found the weekly emails have kept the topic on my mind. I don't live in the New Forest but have tried to look for local food in the Oxford area. It's not easy. The food system is very much behind supporting huge supermarket operations.... But keep on trying - we have to change things!
