Hi Richard

Many Thanks, Catherine
Hi richard, just wondered if you could all the following information to the ART SWAY ALLOTMENT EVENT,(and possibly rename it too!) as after emailing sarah fawkes with the details, i then recieved this notice:
"'GREEN SPACE' is a partnership project between The EDGE project and ArtSway to create a 'growing space' as an interactive educational project for both young people and local residents; promoting both community cohesion, and the importance of self-sufficiency and green movements.
This is the first stage of the project and there will be further opportunities early next year to be part of 'GREEN SPACE's' development.
To prepare for ...the Community Allotment that will be held on ArtSway's grounds, The EDGE project and ArtSway would like to invite you to help clear the site, on the 20th November; 8am til 4pm
We will work together to cut back the brambles that have inhabited the area ready for raised beds that will be installed early next year.
Meet at the front of ArtSway. If you have any heavy duty gloves please bring them and wear old clothes!
We are encouraging a bring and share lunch as part of this event. If you feel obliged please bring something for lunch to share with the group.
See you in the garden for hard work, good food, and great conversation!"
Hi Richard,
thanks for the welcome message. I'm heading towards the final stages of an MBA and am looking for a suitable subject for a project/dissertation. I'd love to do something about marketing/promoting/developing a competitive strategy for local food, with a particular focus on the New Forest. Would be great to chat to you about it sometime. Cheers
Ben
Hello Richard
Have just received your message as have been out all day with a DEFRA Bee Inspector. All is well and the bees are healthy. We would be happy to meet up with you. We live in Totton so are able to meet in Ashurst if that is convenient. Let us know when you are available.
Thanks! I'm just finding my way around the site at the mo but I wondered f anyone knows where, if anywhere, in the Forest I can source local milk? I am trying to source as much as I can locally and and make everything from scratch (easier during the holidays than when I go back to work I feel!) Cheers, Angela
Hi Richard, the profile pic is one taken in May 2008 when I first started to restore/grow on the nursery. It has changed an awful lot! The vision.... a site that will serve the Community, where people can share knowledge and skills with each other, a provider of food..locally sourced and a haven of education for our children! This is taking a lot of personal funding, I am now ready to burst open the doors, afterall this a business and have to survive, so I need buyers!! Most of what I earn goes back into the land. It is a really beautiful spot many people sit for and relax for a while, so I am thinking of holding yoga sessions and educational talks, I would also encourage the people of our Community to bring produce along for us to distribute to others! Be it jams, pickles, cakes, pottery, weaving.....etc . The more peole invlved the merrier!!!
