I'm finding breakfast the hardest thing to source locally. If we have cooked breakfast, say eggs on toast, that's fine - eggs from our chicks & home made bread. If we're in a bit of a rush (quite often), it's back to cereals - I enjoy muesli, but him indoors is a definite weetabix or Shredded Wheat kind of guy. Neither of us tend to drink tea or coffee with breakfast during the week - we both like the "zing" of orange juice to wake us up. Any suggestions on how we can "localise" our breakfast, but still have something we enjoy?

What about smoked trout? Its very tasty! Just can't remember where its from! I think its near Totton somewhere. Minstead Transition were having a tasting session earlier this month, and it was one of their local treats. I will find out for you!

We are having the same problem. Due to the morning rush it tends to be toast or porrige that I buy from the healthfood shop that is sourced from the UK (found a few types use Canadian or American oats) . Apart from this its pancakes with local flour, eggs and milk.
Would love to find some local smoked kippers for the weekends when time is bit less pressed.
