Hi all,
I have just come back from speaking with Lawrence, at Dan's Sway Farm Shop, Pitmore Lane. He is planning to start up a veggie box scheme in the local area - Lymington, Sway and Brockenhurst. So, if you fancy your veg delivered straight to your door, why not drop by and say hello, or email or phone.
Boxes are for 1, 2 or 4 people and very reasonably priced at £10, £15 or £20.

A great big thank you to all the help we had on Sunday at the Festival for our local food cafe. We had some fantastic cakes and cup-cakes - made by Feast Creative Food, Berry's Cakes in Lymington and Minstead Study Centre itself. They all contained local eggs, and many contained local fruit and veg too! (PS did you try one of those amazing strawberry cupcakes?).

Hi all,
I realise now that everyone is in picking and pickling mode, but I just wanted to tell you about our ideas for 2012, so that you can mull over somes ideas that might help us.
What we are really looking to do is make more land available for food growing, in whatever form.
