GREEN SPACE

"GREEN SPACE" is a local food and sustainability project; to install a community allotment and growing space.

The idea was coined by myself and Michael Parsons, two young enviromentalists in the lymington area. We approached a voluntary project in the area The EDGE Project, and the idea was quickly put into motion. After presenting the idea to ArtSway, it was approved and we started to make plans for installing the garden.

Forgive me but I will be writing about the few, selected retailers who will be supporting the VegEvent 2010. I have carefully selected products that are essential and where possible local. It's a happy fact that to grow-your-own you don't need to spend much, I've tried to focus on the basics like, seeds and tools that you do need.

Temperature trials for garden cloches, the results are in.
