- Why do you think local food production is important?
- We should all try and produce and eat our own local food. It tastes so much better, and greatly reduces carbon footprints. Having had an allotment for just over one year, and having made mistakes, I hope to do a lot better in the coming seasons. As a family we have also planted fruit trees, kindly supplied by you. It's all very satisfying and a lot of fun. Thank you for showing us the way.

The Food Challenge have booked a stall at the New Forest Spring Fair on Sunday 5th May.
