Thanks everyone for the interest in this subject.  Question now is what sort of event/activity would you like.  I'm no great expert but would be happy to try an experimental communal cooking session where we can explore the 'low carbon' food concept.

Your suggestion sounds good - to be honest anything where I am learning something new and challenging myself to do things differently in the company of others is great!

Thanks Sam - after the festivities are over I'll give it soem serious thought.....I think making a raw carrot cake is a definite thing to do :)
