Traditional garden across the pond.

Like in Hampshire, in Newfoundland in the old days most households that could had a garden and grew a proportion of their own food. Most of that died out when it became possible to buy food from a supermarket. However, There are still some impressive old style gardens to be found. I thought some people might be interested in this local TV programme about an 85 year old that still keeps his garden going the old way and organic at that.

Yep, plays perfectly.
Excellent story, Land and Sea still doing a great job in searching out good subjects. We didn't see his root cellar though.
I hope some of the folks on the Food challenge will take the time to watch the whole thing as it is inspiring and shows some interesting techniques along the way.
