If you are looking for a few chicken to go in the garden, at Longdown Activity farm we stock Warrens which are probally the best laying chicken that you will find, bred for the commercial units they lay over 350 eggs in their first year.

The Warens are ideal for the novice keeper, as the are extremley quiet and easy to look after, we are happy to give advice to any one new to keeping chickens, or to the more experienced keeper we will be happy to listen to your experiences!

Housing and equipment including feed can now be purchased at the Produce shop at Longdown Activity farm at realistic prices.

Our Point of Lay are £10 each and we are happy to offer our 28 day warranty on all our livestock.

We like cheese!

I tried the cheese from the Fernhill Cheese Company and went back for more! Soft, creamy and fresh, the children liked it too. Worth stopping at their stall at Lymington Saturday Market just opposite St Thoma's Church.
