Join local botanist Celia Cox on a 2/3 hour morning forage to discover which plants are edible, which have interesting folklore and which can be used for medicinal purposes or otherwise.
We will then return to the Study Centre for a demonstration on how to prepare some of the plants we have collected, so that they may be included in a three course lunch. As this is a small group, there will be plenty of time for questions and interaction.
Cost £50 per head. Early booking is essential, as numbers are limited to ten.
The course will cover
Celia Cox has been leading Edible and Medicinal Plant Walks, near Winchester since gaining her MSc in botany from the University of Reading in 2010. The walks are especially suitable for anyone interested in foraging, plants and nature.
